Personal Thoughts
A shorter, simpler version of the Analyzing and Interpreting Literature CLEP, I completed it in 40 minutes and scored a 463. Much like the CLEP, you'll be asked to identify literary terms and types of literature, such as short stories, novellas, novels, and epics. You'll also be asked about the different types of reading and critical analysis that people use when reading literature and poetry. Speaking of poetry, you'll also need at least a passing knowledge of the different uses of meter and be able to identify what meter is being used when given poem excerpts. There are only 75 questions, which can be both a blessing and a hindrance. On the upside, this can be a very quick test if you know the material. On the downside, each question is worth quite a few points, and you'll need to answer them correctly to pass. The questions were straightforward, and it was one of the best-written DSSTs I've seen so far from Prometric.
